Five Used Adventure Bikes for Under $5,000

July 22, 2019 by Jaime

For most riders, the internet has become a trusty tool when looking for new and used bikes, gear, accessories and tires. Whether you’re looking for a used adventure bike or a selection of UTV helmets or discount motorcycle helmets, you’re likely to find the perfect deal online. In the spirit of great deals for riders, here’s a sample list of five used adventure bikes for under $5,000 gleaned from private and commercial sellers’ websites in the United States.

1. 2019 Suzuki Van Van 200

Advertised at $4,050, this single-cylinder 200cc machine will keep you happy on your domestic and overseas on- and off-road adventures. With its low riding miles and hard-to-find gray primary color, it’s a real rider’s deal. What’s more, critics and reviewers consider the bike a “sandbike,” thanks to its fat rear tire. Whether you wish to hit the dirt, gravel or pavement, this versatile lightweight bike can go the distance.

2. 2018 BMW G310R

Listed at $4,495, the 2018 BMW G310R is known for being lightweight – less than 350 lbs. – and strong. The seller notes the bike’s rear-tilting cylinder and the 180-degree rotated cylinder head, which accounts for the bike’s agility and ease of control. Its ergonomic footrest, handlebars and control mechanisms make it a great deal for the rider who needs a machine that can handle stop-and-go urban traffic and unlimited free-wheelin’ highway miles.

3. 2017 Yamaha XT250

For $3,999, you can be the proud owner of this lightweight, electric start 249cc machine. With its air-cooled engine, modern fuel injection, dual disc brakes and advanced long-travel suspension, the 2017 Yamaha XT250 makes for a faithful travelling steed. Moving easily from road to trail environments, it might just become your everyday pride and joy.

4. 2017 Honda CRF250L

Got $3,799 to invest in your dual sport collection? If so, look no further than the 2017 Honda CRF250L. Advertised by the seller as a bike that’s built to do it all, the 2017 model comes with some impressive features, including a new muffler design, a larger throttle body, a larger fuel tank and new Dakar-style bodywork. Power and performance are no problem at all for this go-everywhere, do-everything adventure bike.

5. 2005 Ducati Multistrada 1000

Listed for $2,850, this bike is in excellent condition and has only 20,000 miles on its odometer. Critics consider this lightweight and powerful model one of Ducati’s best dual sport bikes. The Multistrada 1000’s seller reports achieving an impressive 45 miles per gallon on the bike and notes its Staintune Australia mufflers. Need any more reasons to jump on this brilliant bike deal and head for the hills?

As you can see, it’s not difficult to find a used adventure bike for under $5,000 or even critical gear such as motorcycle or UTV helmets when you’ve got access to the internet. Once you find the bike you’re looking for, make it your own with custom motorcycle parts, accessories and tires. There’s nothing to stop you hitting the trail or pavement on the bike of your dreams. Get online today to get riding in style tomorrow!
