Design Tips For A Better Business Website

October 25, 2021 by Jaime

You don’t have to be a tech savvy entrepreneur to work on your own business website. Today’s technology allows you to have access to tools that make it easy to manage your website. However, there are various aspects of design that matter more than others.

If you’re looking to boost the success of your website design, educate yourself on what’s most important. Take a moment to read through this brief look at a few design tips for a better business website design.

Incorporate the concepts of SEO

The first step to building a website that draws lots of traffic is to learn all you can about the concepts of search engine optimization. SEO centers around the things you can incorporate in your design that will make your pages more visible online.

If you want your website to be the first thing a relevant search reveals to users, then you will learn to develop your SEO skills as you work on your design.

Beef up your contact page

The contact page on your business website is an extremely important area of your design. Slacking on communication will only harm the potential of your business online. Your contact page should have many different ways for users to communicate with your business.

This express reinstatement business contact page shows a great example of the incorporation of several different contact methods. Users can email, call, use the simple form, or even check in on WhatsApp.

Add a blog to your design

You want to give people a reason to spend more than just a few seconds on your website. It’s been proven that the longer a user is on your site, the more likely a conversion is to happen.

Adding a blog gives the people more to explore. Don’t just add any old thing to your blog, though. Add entries that are enriching and engaging. Write posts that challenge users to make moves.

Design for speedy loading

One of your top priorities once your site launches is to make sure it is performing at a high speed. You want all of your pages to load without issue, but they have to load fast too.

People won’t wait for your pages to load if it takes more than a couple of seconds. Take the time to run checks. Test the site yourself before ever going live.

Utilize Google Analytics

Google Analytics will help you get a better picture of the performance of your business website once it is live. The services provided by Google Analytics can show you where you need improvement and all the places that draw interest from web users will be highlighted too. Data is power.
